What do I need to do before the inspection?
You must read and sign our client/inspector contract. Once the agreement is signed the inspection will be scheduled at your convenience.
When is payment required?
Payment for each inspection is required at the time of the inspection, and can be paid with either credit card, cash or check (with valid ID).
What does a home inspection include?
The standard home inspector’s report will cover the condition of the home’s heating system; central air conditioning system (temperature permitting); interior plumbing and electrical systems; the roof, attic and visible insulation; walls, ceilings, floors, windows and doors; the foundation, basement and structural components.
How long will the inspection take?
The age and how well the home was maintained both determine how long the inspection will take. Older homes that have not been well maintained will take longer than newer homes that have. The average on-site inspection time for a single inspector is two to three hours for a typical single-family house; anything significantly less may not be enough time to perform a thorough inspection.
When will I receive my completed report?
You will receive your completed report by email within 24 hours, and a printed report to be kept for your records will be mailed within 48 hours.
